Sold: JKL Knives Bushcraft Companion Prototype

Up for sale is one of my custom bushcraft companion knives made from a six inch Old Hickory boning knife. The Old Hickory knives are made from 1095 high cabon steel. They hold an edge great and are easy to sharpen. This knife has a convex saber grind which gives the edge great strength and durability. This knife is razor sharp and will cut with ease. The handles are contoured for comfort and ergonomics. The spine is sharp and will throw sparks easily from a fire steel. The sheath is hand made from 8-9 oz vegetable tanned leather. The knife is $old and the sheath is $old plus shipping. 

Here are the Specs: Marblewood handles, .09" thick 1095 high carbon steel. Overall length 8.625", blade length 4.125", handle length 4.5", blade height .75". Convex saber grind. .125" aluminum pins. Knife weight 3.3 oz, with sheath 6.3 oz.

  1. Nice characteristics are of this simple designed knife. Well, I love to have verities of switchblade Knives, and this is quite different to my collection. Good sharing.
